SAILS

 

The SAILS (Students Achieving Independent Living Skills) program, located in
Downtown Bridgewater, is a community-based program for young adults with
disabilities, ages 18-22.
Programming is tailored to individual strengths, interests and abilities. With the
support of the SAILS staff, students will develop skills that go beyond the classroom

and prepare them for adulthood. Opportunities may include attending college, pre-
employment training, career exploration and internships, independent living, health,

wellness and recreation.
As students make gains in their self-sufficiency their independence will increase, their
confidence will soar and meaningful relationships with employers and community
members will be established.
